Wedding Day Getting Ready Outfits

I am SO excited to finally be sharing our pictures and details from our wedding day! It was my dream wedding and it was the best day ever! I'm starting my first post with the bridesmaids getting ready outfits since this starts the whole day off!  Every bride wants to find the cutest getting ready outfits for the pictures and to gift your girls because they have done so much for you leading up to the big day! Robes are a gift they can keep and use after the wedding!  At first I was looking for something besides robes but they ended up being the easiest and most affordable option! With robes, you don't have to worry about messing your hair & makeup up which is definitely a must on wedding day! I used an Etsy store called ShopAtBash. This is the same company I used for my bachelorette trip t-shirts. To make the robes more personable,  I had my girls name embroidered on the back in white and mine said wifey on the back in pink! These robes turned out so cute and they were so soft & comfortable. I highly recommend using ShopAtBash if you are on the hunt for wedding day robes. They have a ton of different color options and you can get anything you want embroidered on the front or back!

For the next couple months, I will be posting a #weddingwednesday blog post and/or Instagram to share all things weddings from outfits, flowers, decor, planning, etc so stay tuned. I hope you enjoy these post and find it helpful if you are a soon to be bride or bridesmaids helping your bff plan her wedding!

Huge shoutout to all my amazing vendors! Couldn’t have done it without all of you!

My Miami Bachelorette Party

If you've seen my Instagram lately then you may know that I had my bachelorette trip in Miami last week and it was a blast! We seriously had the best time and my girls made me feel so special :) When picking the location for my trip, I knew I wanted to be able to go to the pool/beach, and go somewhere that had good night life. Well let me tell ya, Miami was the perfect spot! While it is a little on the expensive side, I'm sharing s tips on how we saved some money! Miami definitely has the tropical vibes without having to leave the country, and its ranked as one of the best bachelorette destinations because there are endless things to do.

First, I highly recommend renting an Airbnb - preferably one with a pool! We had 8 girls total, so that helped lower the cost for the house by splitting it. Once we arrived in Miami, me and a couple girls went to the grocery store while the others decorated the house. Going to the grocery store is a MUST! We saved so much money by making our own breakfast & lunches and getting everything like coffee, snacks, alcohol & PIZZA ROLLS :) I hadn't had pizza rolls since like middle school and we ended up eating 3 whole packs of them throughout the weekend LOLOL! Also, our house was a little outside of South Beach, which helped keep the cost down. It only ended up being a 15-20 minute Uber drive to South Beach, so we didn't end up having to spend a lot on transportation.

And seriously, how cute were all the decorations?! My two MOH did an amazing job and I was so obsessed with how it turned out! It was exactly how I have always pictured my bachelorette trip! It was just so me! They even made "oh shit kits" for each of the girls with sunglasses, hats, lip balm, mini champagne bottles, temporary tattoos, face wipes, and packets of Pedialyte & Advil!

We had matching tanks for everyone from the Etsy store ShopatBash. If you need anything wedding wise from hats to robes for getting ready, I highly suggest using them! Everything came in perfectly and was super cute!

We also ordered one piece bathing suits from a different website for everyone, but they ended up being a total FAIL! They didn't fit at all (super skimpy & see through) and I was so bummed those didn't work out, but its okay!

Now on to what we did each day!

Thursday was our travel day. Most of us arrived at the airport around the same time so we were able to all meet up there and go to the Airbnb together. We rented one car which came in handy going back & forth to the grocery store! Like I mentioned previously, we stocked up on food & decorated during the early afternoon and then after that we all changed into our suits, popped a bottle of champange and played prosecco pong by the pool!

Thursday night was our chill night with pizza and games! This was so much fun because I was able to just catch up with most of the girls I hadn't seen in awhile!

I have to say this was my favorite day! Another Miami tip for ya - reach out to promoters! If you go to the beach, sometimes they will come up to you, but since we didn't have plans to go to the beach one of my girls reached out to some promoters on Instagram. I knew I wanted to go to one of the "famous" pool parties while we were there, and while planning we looked up prices for tables or cabanas and they were thousands of dollars BUT the promoters got us in for FREE with FREE alcohol! Needless to say we had a great time! The vibe of these pool parties really puts you in the party mood haha! The one we went to was Hyde Beach Pool Party at the SLS Hotel. We stayed for a couple hours then went back to the Airbnb to get glammed up for dinner & the hunk show!

We made dinner reservations beforehand at Katsuya, which happened to also be at the SLS Hotel. The sushi here was amazing! Be prepared when going to any restaurant because its really is super expensive. Drinks were $18-25. Then we snapped some pictures and headed to the HUNK SHOW which was called HunkOMania! This was hands down my favorite part because I haven't laughed so much in my life! I won't go to much into detail here because what happens in Miami stays in Miami haha JUST KIDDING but if I had to explain it, its like Magic Mike! If you're with a group of girls go to this for sure!

After the hunk show, the promoters were trying to get us into LIV (go there if you are able, I've never been but heard good things) but it was sold out because Cardi B was performing so we couldn't get in, but we were able to get into Rockwell and got free alcohol there as well!

Since we had a crazy day on Friday, we decided to have a pool day at our Airbnb and take it a little easier. We cooked breakfast & of course had some mimosas! My MOH brought floats so we blew them up and literally just played music and laid by the pool until late afternoon. Then we stayed in and cooked tacos and played more games that night! Bachelorette Heads Up will definitely keep your group laughing! Most of us had to be up by 5am the next morning for our flights, so we keep it pretty chill, but it was so nice to just relax and spend time with my girls since I don't get to see some of them very often.

My white dress from Saturday is from Dottie Couture Boutique for $38! Such a good price and super cute! My bathing suit is from Aerie and is linked here

Then Sunday, we said our goodbyes :( and headed to the airport!

My bridesmaids are so amazing and they made the trip so special! I couldn't have asked for a better weekend! If you are planning a bachelorette trip - this is definitely a fun place to go & I hope I've shared some good ways to help save you and your girls some money so y'all don't end up spending a million dollars!

My go-to places to shop for cute but affordable active wear. All under $50.

Need motivation to work out more? Get some cute workout clothes! I'm telling ya, there's something about them that magically makes you want to hit the gym, haha! I love having cute workout clothes, but can't bring myself to pay $100 dollars for leggings when I can get close to the same quality for half the price. These are some of the ones that I wear and love!

These are hands down my favorite workout/anytime leggings! They are literally the softest leggings you will ever put on. They are constantly having sales, so you can go to the Aerie Outlet or get them online. I have at least 6 pair of their $60 dollars leggings and only paid $16 for each. Their sales are always great! They also have so many different fun colors and prints to choose from. And these best thing about them besides how comfortable they are, is that they are squat proof! Aerie also has some of the best sweatshirts that you can paid with your leggings even when you're not headed to the gym!

Old Navy

If you haven't shopped the workout section at Old Navy you are definitely missing out. As you all know, this place is my jam and my go to for everything! You can't beat their prices for everything, but especially their workout clothes. Their stuff is  super cute, and the quality is amazing! They also have athleisure wear because lets be honest, we all wear workout clothes even when we aren't actually going to workout. 100% of my athleisure clothes come from Old Navy! They are always having sales on their workout clothes, so you can pretty much buy them any time for a great price!

Target has a new workout line called JoyLab that is super trendy, high quality and inexpensive. They have some great leggings and tops, and they also have some good jackets and sports bras. They are all fun colors, and will make you stand out anywhere you go! And come on, who doesn't need another excuse to go to Target!

Marshalls/TJ Maxx -

These two are hit or miss for me, but most of the time they have a great selection. Their workout clothes are all name brand, and they have so many different kinds of workout tops and leggings for awesome prices, usually half off the normal prices.

Forever 21 / H&M

I will always be honest with y'all, so this would be my last pick for workout clothes. I do have a couple workout tanks that I wear all the time from there, but I don't trust the leggings. I'm always nervous they aren't squat proof and nobody wants to be that girl at the gym with see through leggings, haha! But like I said, the workout tanks are pretty good quality! The sports bras are also nice to lounge in, I don't work out in them. This would be my pick for just comfy lounge wear instead of actual gym clothes.

Affordable Apartment Decor

I received sooo many questions regarding my home decor! I was so glad y'all like that post because it was so fun for me to share. I loved redecorating our living room in our new place. Decorating can get super expensive, so I wanted to share how we kept it affordable and still so cute at the same time.

The living room is the only part of the apartment we changed completely. We kept our same bedroom furniture and just added a few touches to give it a simple change. Same with the guest room. We also didn't have a formal dining room in our last apartment, where in this one we do. But we are still saving up for the dining table that we want, so we are using our tiny IKEA table from the last apartment. But it works for now! Decorating and buying for a house is something that you can't do at one time, it's a work in progress, and will eventually all come together.

We decided to change up our living room completely because everything that we were using in our last apartment was a hand me down from the couch to the TV stand! With us getting married this year, we figured it was time for us to make this new place "ours", which is why we decided to make our first adult purchase - a couch! Who knew they were so expensive! We spent a lot of time searching different places, but finally found the one we really liked at Ashley Homestore. It was actually on sale for $750, so it was a great deal. After taxes and delivery - it was still under $950. We wanted a more modern look, which is why we choose the grey and white, and the decor to go with it. We also knew that we wanted a white TV stand, but couldn't find one we liked that wasn't super expensive, so we went to IKEA and actually designed this ourselves. I had no idea you could do that at IKEA until we started talking with one of the employees who helped us with the process. It literally only took us like 30 minutes! Now putting it together was a different story, haha! I'm not good at that kind of stuff so my sister and Patrick's dad spent a couple of hours putting it all together, but it was totally worth it!

We went went white, black and grey with a pop of blush as our color scheme! We both agreed that we liked that the best since it wasn't super girly or super manly, and it was a good balance for both of us. I found the blush painting at At Home and sent Patrick a picture expecting him say no to the pink, but I was SO surprised when he liked it and let me add it! That small pop of color just gives a little extra something, without making it too girly.
Okay so I've linked everything from the living room below:

Also, some of this was on sale when we purchased it so ALWAYS look for coupons or discount codes.

Now on to the our bedroom & bathroom! I am OBSESSED :) like I mentioned before, we kept most of the furniture from our old apartment and the same comforter, lamps, etc. The only thing I really added to this room was the mirror, the furry chair & the picture above our bed! The picture is my favorite part of the room!

Comforter - Target
Pillows - Homegoods about 3 years ago / Similar - Target

Furry chair - Homegoods: found mine for $40 / Similar - Amazon
Headboard - Kirklands: found mine on sale a couple years ago for $60 / Similar - Wayfair
Bathroom Rug - Bed Bath & Beyond & another one here

Last is the patio area. We have a much bigger patio in this place, so we decided to make it somewhere that we actually wanted to hang out! We will be using this a lot in the spring/summer, so to make it more cozy we added the lights to give it some ambiance! Just adding the lights made such a difference and they aren't super expensive. The table and chairs was something that we had in our last apartment, which they still have at IKEA. The rug just brings the space together, and makes it look a lot nicer! The two chairs aren't enough so we want to add a small couch but again, saving up for that!

Rug- AtHome
Lights- Bed Bath & Beyond
Outdoor Furniture- Ikea

I hope you all enjoyed this post and it gave you some inspiration for your own home/apartment! Once we finish the dining room, I'll share that :)
