2018 Changes

Happy 2018!
So I know I'm about a week late on this post but honestly I didn't want to write a cliche new years resolution post. The more I started thinking about it I wanted to share 3 things I look forward to changing in my life in 2018. I don't want to call these resolutions, not to be a debbie downer but nobody ever sticks to those. I feel like sticking to 3 goals is a lot more doable than choosing 10 and not being able to accomplish them. This year I am very determined to hold myself accountable for these changes because it will only help me become a better person for myself and others - so here goes!

1. Forming a better/deeper relationship with God individually and in my and Patrick's relationship.

I'm a christian and have always had a relationship with Got but I know I can give a lot more. I feel like in the hustle and bustle of life we sometimes forget what living is all about and we forget to give thanks to the only one that makes it all possible which is Him. My goal is to find a church here in Charlotte and start going every Sunday that we are in town. I would also love to start reading a devotional so please put your recommendations in the comments!

2.  Chase the girl who I want to be in the future.

I have so many things I want to do and accomplish in my life so I want to work towards those goals like its 5 years from now. I'm guilty for getting into a lazy routine where all I do is go to work, come home and sleep then repeat Monday through Friday. There is so much more to life so I plan on making big changes in this area. I plan on getting back into my gym routine at 5:30AM, working on the blog or anything else that makes me happy after work and exploring/travel on the weekends!

3. Live in moment

I feel like a lot of us don't truly live in the moment because we are to busy on our phones or worrying what others are doing. Life goes by way to fast not to cherish these moments and enjoy who you are with. My goal is to unplug and truly embrace the important things without being attached to electronics.

2017 was a great year but I feel 2018 is going to be AMAZING! I do have few other small goals for myself but overall these are the changes I am determined to make! Although, this was a more personal post, I hope y'all enjoyed it and feel free to share your "changes" below! Cheers to 2018 and becoming the best version of yourself 💛

Now on to the outfit - how cozy is this sweater! Charlotte has been in the teens this past week so its been perfect to throw to keep me warm and it is super affordable being from H&M! I purchased these Hinge booties about a month or so ago from seeing a lot of other bloggers speak highly about them and they really are worth the $100. I can wear them all day with no problems and they even look great with work pants! I added the hat because ya know it covers up the dirty second day hair LOL but I actually ended up loving it with this sweater!

Thanks for reading!
